A backyard bird feeder doesn’t need a launch campaign, social media accounts, ad spend, or an influencer army spreading the word about how cool it is in order to see action.
All it needs is some feed and a place to place it.
You give the birds what they want in a format they can consume it, and – just like that – it’s working!
You don’t need to monitor it 24/7.
You don’t need to stand outside, calling out at birds overhead to entice them down into your garden.
You definitely don’t need to split-test different types of feed to see what attracts the most visitors.
They’ll figure it out.
You’ll figure it out.
When it’s something they want, simplicity is the key.
If it’s something you’re happy to provide, maybe it’s enough to just do the thing and then leave it alone.
Remember that your goal is simple:
Feed the birds and enjoy their presence.
Anything that gets in the way of reaching those objectives is either a distraction or completely unnecessary.
